Review of the Sims 4:

The Sims 4 is a game that requires the player to have a plan and make up their own stories to have fun. Everything is in control of the player, there are good and bad things about it. The good is that you have the ability to create near fully customizable worlds and characters that follow what the player asks. The bad is that there is little excitement to be had in a world where every minute detail must be carefully crafted. As the Sims 4 has gotten updates some of this has changed but it’s less than desirable, instead of your towns becoming ghost towns every single household has ten kids, your sims get bombarded with calls from npc sims about what to do with their life.

Sims without the control of the player don’t usually do anything spontaneous or interesting because of the traits they have or aspirations, thus making most when it comes to having unique game play with each sim there is little to none. The Sims 3 does a better job at actually playing the sims instead of customizing your world to be interesting. While the main game play of the Sims 4 lacks luster when compared to other installments of the game, the build mode and create a sim system are the best I’ve seen in a game so if
